1. Introduction

Welcome to MapWeave. By accessing our website, widgets, or API, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws.

If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in this website are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.

2. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

• You are responsible for safeguarding your password.
• You agree not to disclose your password to any third party.
• You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

3. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to misuse the MapWeave services. For example, you must not, and must not attempt to:

• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network.
• Breach or otherwise circumvent any security or authentication measures.
• Interfere with or disrupt any user, host, or network, for example by sending a virus, overloading, flooding, spamming, or mail-bombing any part of the Services.
• Plant malware or otherwise use the Services to distribute malware.
• Reverse engineer our map rendering engine or proprietary schemas.

4. Payments & Subscriptions

Some of our Services are billed on a subscription basis ("Subscriptions"). You will be billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis (such as monthly or annually), depending on the type of subscription plan you select when purchasing a Subscription.

At the end of each period, your Subscription will automatically renew under the exact same conditions unless you cancel it or MapWeave cancels it. You may cancel your Subscription renewal either through your online account management page or by contacting customer support.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of MapWeave and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United States and foreign countries.

Data inputted by the user (locations, pins, descriptions) remains the property of the user. By submitting data, you grant us a license to host and render this data via your configured widgets.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall MapWeave, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service.
• Any content obtained from the Service.
• Unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content.
