1 Connect Your Live Data Source
Live tracking requires dynamic data. Instead of uploading a static spreadsheet, you will provide a JSON endpoint URL (from your existing GPS system or database) that outputs your vehicle locations.
2 Choose the Transit & Fleet Widget
Create a new widget and select Transit & Fleet. MapWeave will ping your JSON endpoint automatically. If you have "Status" fields (e.g., In Transit, Delayed, Parked), MapWeave will auto-generate a map legend.
3 Configure Animation Settings
In the "Animations" tab, you can adjust the refresh rate (e.g., ping the server every 10 seconds) and toggle on "Smooth Movement." This ensures vehicles glide cleanly across the screen instead of jumping from point to point.
4 Deploy the Dashboard
Publish and embed the script onto your secure portal or public tracking page. Your customers can now see exactly where their assets are without ever picking up the phone.
